Relaxing days in Tyrol

Just back from Greece, we were looking for a way to spend a long weekend somewhere in October to celebrate Beat's birthday a bit too. As this was a bit last-minute, flights to Porto, for example, were very expensive. We decided to go to the Schlosshotel in Fiss in the Tyrol for the second time, where we had already been six years ago, and where we were able to immerse ourselves in the world of wellness and spa for the first time (I didn't have a website then :-).

The hotel is located in the family friendly Fiss, Serfaus, Ladis area and we were there in mid-October at the end of the summer season (the hotel also closed its doors on Sunday at departure). We enjoyed everything we expected from the stay:

  • relaxing massages
  • delicious Gourmet food
  • fantastic hospitality
  • huge Spa with sauna, jacuzzi and steam bath
  • RELAXATION

All this in a beautiful and huge hiking, biking - and in winter - skiing area. As the mountain railways and public transport were also included (directly from the hotel there are three gondolas and a bus that connects the three areas), we also went on an excursion every day. The hotel also kindly provided us with an FFP2 mask, which has become obligatory again in Austria in public areas. These are the 3 trails we did:

Quellenweg

A beautiful panoramic path, always towards the sun. We took the gondola down to Serfaus and from there by metro and bus back to Fiss.

Hexenweg

Also a cool trail, very nicely done with interactive stops for small and big children... :-)

Panorama Genussweg

On the day of departure we were allowed to leave the car in the garage for a longer time. We took the bus to Serfauss to take the gondola to the starting point of the Panorama Genussweg. Here we hiked with a super panorama, best weather and nice stops - there were even hammocks and loungers with music on the way - towards the Möseralm, where we didn't miss the chance to whizz down the toboggan run, the "Fisser Flitzer", which was also super cool.

All in all, they were very relaxing days that I always look back on with happy memories.
